Motorola Droid Razr HD Review
Online, October 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - One of the newest additions to the Motorola Droid Razr line is the Motorola Droid Razr HD. Looking at the two phones side by side with the screens off, you may not be able to tell the difference. The measurements are almost identical, with the Razr HD at 5.2 by 2.7 by 0.33, making it a tenth of an inch taller and 0.05 inches thicker than the Droid Razr. The Razr HD also has the Kevlar backing, solid build and minimalistic design that the Droid Razr had. One way to tell them apart is by the thin silver strip that runs around the body of the phone, giving it a sophisticated look. Once you turn on the screens, however, the comparisons end between the Razr HD and its predecessor. The 4.7 inch 1280x720p AMOLED display is incredible and has better colors, detail and viewing angles than the Droid Razr.
Inside the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 dual core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 graphic processor. Android 4.0 ICS and a very thin Motorola user interface complete the round up. Motorola says the Droid Razr HD will be upgradable to Jelly Bean in the future. The Motorola UI starts off with 2 home screens with the option to add up to 5 more. It also has the circle widgets on the main page, a very popular feature. On the back of the phone is an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video capture. Call quality is fabulous with very clear connections and the 4G LTE service is incredibly fast.
