Those tax credits, depending on your income, could improve your monthly premium by more than half. Household incomes up to $94,200 (based on 2013 estimates) qualifies for help.
The state marketplaces will have plan levels. Plans more or less will cover the same services but will vary in the level of costs and coverage: Bronze covers 60% of medical costs, silver covers 70%, gold covers 80% and platinum covers 90 % of medical costs. Lower or higher out-of-pocket costs will affect your premium.
