Time to time MCVB organise events and competitions in the city that help to keep the city in news and mind of tourists as one of best places in England to spend vacations with family and friends.
While working on its motto, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitor Bureau (MCVB) took a step forward and is happy to announce that the bureau hold an art contest for the 2015 Montgomery Area Visitor Guide Covers.
All skilled, amateur, faculty and high school students can take part in the contest and the price in terms of money and awards. As Montgomery is going to celebrate the the 60 years anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott and 50th Anniversary of the Selma-to-Montgomery Albama Civil Rights March. So, keeping that in view the theme of the art contest is Montgomery Bus Boycott and Selma-to-Montgomery Albama Civil Rights March. Each artists can send two send maximum of two copies of his work in contest and the work copies of the contestants should include photography that should be original.
The work of the winners will be print in 2015 as covers in the four seasonal editions of 2015 Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitor Bureau (MCVB) tour guide. The art contest artists can submit their work that can be prepared using either drawing, painting, illustration or 2d mixed photography.
All the artists who wish to participate can submit their work on 4th of November at the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
