MJ Timeless Michael Jackson Tribute Show Blackpool 2010

The name of our show is MJ TIMELESS and is a celebration of Michael's remarkable Musical Legacy.

From Music videos to signature dance moves, from fashion items to vocal style, Michael Jackson's influence is immense throughout the entertainment industry. Indeed, as a male dancer, the reason why I started was because I wanted to grow up to be a perfectionist performer like Michael Jackson. I was amazed at how he moved, glided expressed and sang. It felt as though I was watching magic.

As I grew up, I read the lyrics in many of Michael's albums and began to understand the things he sang about as I grew up. Through this I became more fascinated by who he was as a person and what inspired him to write as he did. This was the inspiration for what I do today in both my teaching of dance at my College in Leicester and this exciting new production I have the honour to be part of.

In life, things always change. Friends may betray us, family may hurt us, but music is a truth. Once composed and recorded it can never change. The intentions of the composer sealed with the last stroke of the pen. Michael Jackson's music will, therefore, always be a truth. Songs like Black & White; Heal the World and Man in the Mirror will always carry the same message and always be relevant.
