Michigan Career Educator and Employer Alliance Welcomes TTi Global to the "MCEEA Seventh Annual Conference"

Mike Rieves, Recruiter Manager for TTi Global was a featured panelist at the MCEEA's Seventh Annual Conference and discussed TTi Global's Veteran Recruitment and Placement Initiative. The Conference was held at the Atheneum Suite Hotel & Conference Center on Thursday June 14th in Detroit.

The Michigan Career Educator and Employer Alliance (MCEEA), whose mission is focused on fostering collaboration between higher education and the employment sector, gathered to discuss how to best enhance Michigan’s future, connect talent to opportunities and to provide talent with strong professional development. The two-day conference attracted many leading employers including; DTE Energy, Kellogg’s. Auto-Owners Insurance, Pure Michigan Talent connect and others.

The MCEEA “Seventh Annual Conference” was themed Create, Innovate, Invigorate and featured Jacques Panis, President of Shinola as the keynote speaker. Mike Rieves, TTi Globals’s Recruiting Manager, spoke during Transformative Space: Industry- Academic Partnerships for Career and Identity Mentoring of Student Veterans session. Rieves was joined by fellow panelist Bart Buechner, Professor Adler University and Vice-Chair of Michigan’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve and Steve Lipnicki, Assistant Dean of Students, Grand Valley State University.

The panel was followed by a robust question and answer period where participants, mainly from the university career service or corporate human services, exchanged comments and information.
