Miami Clinical Psychotherapy Earns Accolades for Advances in ADHD Treatment

Miami Clinical Psychotherapy is a clinic that has a rich history of experience treating Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as instances of severe panic attacks in children and adults.

Miami Clinical Psychotherapy has been founded with the intent to offer sound mental health counseling to children as well as adults. Run by Faramroze (Fram) Sarkari, M.S., LMHC, the clinic specializes in offering timely aid to people suffering from ADHD and even children who experience panic attacks.

Children who have a difficult time paying attention or are easily distracted and disorganized may be affected by ADHD. Those who are hyperactive may be constantly fidgeting or talking too much. The clinic helps resolve such problems with due support and therapy. Timely aid can help patients lead a better life when the condition is duly managed by a qualified and experienced Miami Clinical Psychotherapy professional.

"Panic attacks among children and teens are when they feel intense fear. These physical symptoms include increasing heart rate, chest pain and possible choking sensations. When kids experience difficulty in breathing, sweating, trembling and gastrointestinal distress; they need immediate assistance. Some also feel changes in body temperature, hot or cold flushes, dizziness, or even numbness or tingling in limbs"

“Panic attacks among children and teens are when they feel intense fear. These physical symptoms include increasing heart rate, chest pain and possible choking sensations. When kids experience difficulty in breathing, sweating, trembling and gastrointestinal distress; they need immediate assistance. Some also feel changes in body temperature, hot or cold flushes, dizziness, or even numbness or tingling in limbs,” explains Faramroze (Fram) Sarkari, M.S., LMHC.

This is precisely why children experiencing these symptoms must seek prompt medical aid. When it comes to privacy, there is complete confidentiality between a client and psychotherapist. There are exceptions in cases of suspected abuse or instances where a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person or themselves. However, these are only in instances of ensuring safety.

“People who experience Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can have 3 groups of behavior symptoms. These include inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. In such cases MCP Growth Groups offer support for children and teens who are experiencing symptoms of ADHD along with approaches of managing their particular symptoms. Closed groups are beneficial in developing cohesion between group members as you get to know the other members in your group very well and each week is able to build on the prior one. We help new members join an existing group,” says a Miami Clinical Psychotherapy spokesperson.

In 2012, Faramroze Sarkari, the CCST-FACES Program Coordinator for ICFH won the FACES Collaboration Award. Presented annually during the Youth and Family Empowerment Summit; the award is a prestigious one.

Faramroze Sarkari has also received the Certificate of Completion in Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) in 2010. WRAP facilitates group therapy for varied patients. Miami Clinical Psychotherapy has helped scores of parents dealing with panic attacks in children and continues to treat countless others.
