Metropolitan Secures Cornerstone Commitment From Texas Tech University Endowment
New York, NY, June 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Metropolitan Partners Group Management, LLC (“Metropolitan”), a Registered Investment Adviser in New York City that provides capital to private companies via collateralized loan structures, announced today that it has secured a cornerstone LP commitment from Texas Tech University System Endowment (“TTUSE”) for its fourth direct lending fund, targeted to raise $125 million.
The investment with Metropolitan was overseen by TTUSE’s Chief Investment Officer, Tim Barrett. In 2016, Mr. Barrett was the proud recipient of two awards from the publication Chief Investment Officer: the magazine’s most prestigious award, “Chief Investment Officer of the Year,” as well as the “2016 Industry Innovation Award for Endowments.”
