Metrix Announces Surge in New Customers

Consumer goods, defense and technology service companies select Metrix software

Metrix, a leading provider of field service, repair and workforce mobility software solutions, today announced several recent customer wins:

• A 1,000-user deal with a European business-to-consumer (B2C) service provider replacing Oracle
• A German consumer electronics and computer repair services firm
• A division of a Fortune 500 company providing industrial security systems
• A world leader in commercial food equipment and services
• A pilot project at an access control/technology solutions provider
• A global provider of portable power systems
• A large U.S. defense contractor for communication equipment and wireless networks

"Working closely with these new customers has helped us enhance our product features and expand our industry-specific functionality," said Tom Bowe, VP of Marketing and Engineering for Metrix. "Most of the implementation projects are already underway and will achieve go-live in the first and second quarter of 2011."

"Each client gains significant financial benefit from using the Metrix 5 and Metrix Mobile products," he continued. "We will be creating customer case studies in the near future, where we will highlight the company, the project and the results."

"Recession? What recession?" joked Larry Laux, President and CEO of Metrix. "Seriously, we recognize that many companies are just starting to emerge from difficult times and we are excited to have an attractive technology that can help them recover and grow. We feel it is important to let the marketplace know that other companies are beginning to invest in high payback IT projects such as these and if Metrix is a leading indicator of an improving economy, well, that's ok, too."
