OCALA, Fla., October 12, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership is pleased to announce Mestizo Foods, LLC is locating its headquarters and primary manufacturing in Ocala. The company expects to make a $20 million capital investment in the area, creating approximately 200 new, full-time jobs.

The company is a private label and third party snack food manufacturer that offers a variety of cooked corn and masa flour chips. It has purchased former Golden Flake factory located on Silver Springs Boulevard.
