INDIANAPOLIS (Coles Marketing Communications) - Indianapolis accounting firms Murphy, McClary, Stover and Burnett LLC and Horn CPA Group PC have merged to form Meridian CPAs.

Meridian CPAs is a full-service accounting firm that offers accounting, taxation, management advisory, business valuation and litigation support and financial planning services. Meridian CPAs concentrates on service-based industries, including health care, real estate and professional service companies.

"The role of a CPA has changed from what once was simply being an after-the-fact tax preparer to being a proactive advisor," said Meridian CPAs partner John McClary.

Meridian CPAs is led by partners McClary, David A. Burnett, Jay R. Horn and Michael A. Stover, all of whom are graduates of Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and former colleagues at an Indianapolis-based CPA firm. William F. Murphy is serving as a consulting principal at Meridian CPAs.
