"My Open Heart" is a new original song dedicated to the memory of our Afghan vets and all couples experiencing forced separation. The song is about a young couple that is deeply in love. The husband is called to duty in Afghanistan "to a land dark and gray".

Composer Reino Wantin of www.ReiwanMusic.com has written many songs for both male and female vocalists. Vocalist Michael Quatro is featured on "My Open Heart". Mr. Quatro was a child prodigy on piano and appeared regularly on the Art Linkletter Show. He went on sell millions of records with his own group and his sister Suzi Quatro also has had a successful music and acting career.

"My Open Heart" is currently available as a cd single and is getting worldwide airplay on www.jango.com internet radio. Also, Mr. Wantin has just released a new album called Heavenward II which features Michael Quatro as well as the excellent female vocalist Marie Rose Fournier. Mr. Wantin's music incorporates many diverse styles and themes which include life and its brevity, broken homes, broken marriages and forced separation. Demo versions of "My Open Heart" are available by request via email and/or cd. Mr. Wantin is availble for radio and TV interviews.

Reino Wantin (Composer, Producer) was born with a God given love for music and great creative drive. Mr. Wantin began composing on his clarinet as a teenager. He studied piano and theory with Dr. Dallas Weekley at Huntington College in Indiana. He also worked closely with Lee Noble who was a renowned classical composer. His work includes children's songs, gospel, pop and rock songs. Mr. Wantin attends Ward Presbyterian Church in Northville, MI and believes that music is one of God's greatest gifts.

Michael Quatro is a multi-talented entertainer who has enjoyed worldwide acclaim. His achievements include gold records and over 10 million worldwide album sales. Michael began his classical music career at the age of seven when he performed on piano with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. At age 12 he turned "pop" and performed weekly on the Lawrence Welk Show. Quatro released several albums in the 1970's. These albums became especially popular in Detroit, Michigan where Quatro was popular on the club scene. He is the older brother of musician Suzi Quatro. Michael Quatro is featured on keyboards and vocals on many Reino Wantin compositions from Heavenward II and other Reiwan Music albums.
