Matt Smith Announced as Chief Compliance Officer of Physical Rehabilitation Network

Physical Rehabilitation Network, LLC, (PRN), is pleased to announce Matt Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, Cert MDT, CSMT, as its Chief Compliance Officer. The newly developed role will oversee the quality and compliance programs for the physical and occupational therapy business. Current PRN CEO, Bruce McDaniel, CEO of PRN stated, “­­Matt’s strong academic background, experience and leadership with the RehabAuthority brand made the appointment a natural fit."

Matt has 13 years of clinical experience with certifications in manual therapy from North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and The International Spine & Pain Institute. He also has certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and has recently re-certified as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He is currently the chair for the education department for the state of Idaho and volunteers at local colleges teaching and sitting on healthcare advisory boards. “This is an exciting time for PRN and we look forward to building a robust program for our clinicians,” says Smith. “This endeavor is a welcome challenge that will improve our processes for our patients, our partners and our employees.”

Smith is joined by Erika Jacob, PT, MTC, the new Director of Compliance. Jacob has been a long-time clinical leader in the Denver market. The newly formed team will develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive quality and compliance program to facilitate best practice standards.
