Math App for Children With Differing Abilities Wins Platinum App Award

ZyroMath wins the highest honor in the best mobile app for children and toddlers category from Best Mobile App Awards.

Zyrobotics, a leading assistive technology company, continues to demonstrate its ability to develop award-winning technologies with its newest addition ZyroMath, which received the best mobile app award for children and toddlers. Zyrobotics earned the platinum award for ZyroMath, the highest honor in the category.

The Best Mobile App Awards (BMAA) is dedicated to discovering and sharing the best mobile apps on the market. Brands are recognized for their mobile apps after a panel of judges evaluates them on criteria’s such as, design, usability, functionality and overall performance.

ZyroMath is part of the Zumo Learning System, an electronic learning system that uses a unique physical play interface to provide a fun, engaging, and accessible learning experience for children of all abilities. In ZyroMath, children learn common core math skills tailored for ages 3-8. Children can count up to 100 by ones and tens, improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, all while having fun.

Founder Ayanna Howard says, “We’re excited about the amazing responses we've received about ZyroMath addressing the needs of children of all abilities. ZyroMath is also our first app that can autonomously learn game settings based on the child’s own skill level. We are excited to announce this new feature in our future apps as well.”

With so many apps on the market today, it can be difficult finding one for children of differing abilities.  No child should be limited in their educational and play experiences because of a disability.  ZyroMath is switch-accessible so children with limited upper mobility can play also.
