Maryland Realtor To Host A Pre-Labor Day Neighborhood Cookout, On Sunday Sept. 2nd, To Celebrate A Complete Home Renovation Performed By Local Businesses
Online, September 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Reality TV shows like "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition", make home remodeling seemed easy. In reality most complex home projects take a lot of coordination and time. This summer local contractors and a realtor came together to completely renovate a colonial home in the 1100 block of Parkedge Drive in Rockville, MD.
Pamela Egnew with Llewellyn Realtors, was approached by a previous client to sell her property. Pamela suggested a complete renovation to make it more updated and marketable. Pamela contacted contractors she trusted and were experienced.
The renovation which took two months involved local companies who collaborated to complete the complex project. The interior remodeling included new granite tops, stainless steel appliances, new ceramic tile in the foyer and kitchen, new bathrooms, recessed lighting and fixtures throughout the house; it was completed by Eric B Home Improvement, LLC. The exterior work, such as the roof, windows, siding and landscaping was done by American Design Exterior Inc. Pamela Egnew managed the project and the real estate marketing.
When asked how it was possible to complete such extensive work in a relatively short time, Pamela Egnew stated: "When you have experienced and reputable businesses that respect each other and work as a team, anything is possible". She also mentioned that it took a lot of coordination between the contractors, realtor and owner. She said "Sometimes it seemed chaotic but everything was collaborated perfectly. The end result is a beautiful, updated colonial home".
To celebrate their success, Pamela Egnew will host a pre-Labor Day neighborhood cookout which is open to the public from 12-2pm on Sunday September 2nd 2012. There will also be an open house from 2-4pm to see the renovation work. Contact Pamela Egnew for more information.
