ACRCSI Individuals Hold Weekly Fundraiser for an End Of The Summer Trip
Decatur, GA, July 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Another Chance Rehabilitation & Customized Services is a Day Support program for individuals with disabilities and it is our mission to expand our individuals’ independence and experience by providing personalized support plans and customized materials that are motivating and rewarding for them. We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses such as you for support. This year we are planning a trip at the end of the summer to Tybee Island with our individuals. At a total cost of $3,500.00, the individuals will lodge at the Sea Breeze Hotel and dine at the Dolphin Reef Restaurant. Both facilities provide beautiful beachfront views of the island. The educational fulfillment will be obtained through visiting the Marine Science Center and Fort Pulaski. Individuals will learn about Oceanography and Marine Biology along with the American Civil War.
Individuals of Another Chance are currently having a fundraiser such as car washes hoping to make this dream a reality. Through these efforts, we are asking for your support and contributions. You can bring your vehicle to our new facility (5301 Snapfinger Park Drive, Decatur, GA 30088) for an exterior hand-wash. The car wash operates Monday and Wednesday from 10am-2pm. Donation requests are $5/car and $10/truck. A sense of achievement is obtained through physical and mental stimulation, which is what our individuals are able to obtain at Another Chance. Although there are plenty of businesses tailored to the auto-cleaning and restaurant industries, by supporting ACRCSI you give our individuals a chance to be of service to their own community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our causes. One day after work, Mrs. Ego Ndukwe saw a disabled client of the company she then worked for walking home in the pouring rain. She immediately pulled over and offered the much-appreciated ride home. Instantaneously, Ego was surprisingly admonished by her superiors for the kind act. She was saddened to find out the company didn’t truly match her level of care for clients. Mrs. Ndukwe courageously left her position but still had to decide her next career move. Her husband and founder of ACRCSI, Dr. Mang Ndukwe initiated the idea of starting a company where she and others could get “another chance” in a society that rarely offers such. Today, their company continues to grow into an advancing, extended family that carries on assisting individuals succeeding against insensitive obstacles.
