Management Circle Launches 'Global Female Leaders Summit'
Online, February 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - International Management Conference on 1-2 April 2014 in Zurich
Management Circle AG has announced the first 'Global Female Leaders Summit' for April 2014. The conference, which is set to take place every year, will present international keynote speeches by women from the worlds of economics, politics, science and business, and will offer two days of discussion and networking. Under the maxim of 'Exploring New Dimensions Together', the first day will deal with the economic, ecological and social aspects of globalisation with an emphasis on current developments in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the BRIC countries. The second day of the event will focus on technical innovation and digitisation and international financial markets as well as female leadership. There will also be retrospectives of the speakers' personal careers, which will offer insight into visions, strategies and individual paths to success. The location of the Global Female Leaders Summit is the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich.
"More and more women are reaching managerial ranks", says Sigrid Bauschert, Executive of Management Circle AG. "Of course this is only the beginning, but the initial dynamic isn't something to dismiss. It is thanks to this dynamic that we are breaking away from old ways of thinking, and the wealth of ideas, perspectives and solutions is growing. That is why my colleagues and I have put together a top-class programme of international keynote speeches, discussions and think tanks. Our Global Female Leaders Summit creates the opportunity for intensive networking between high-ranking female managers from a variety of different countries and sectors, including executives, CEOs and directors as well as managers from large organisations, upper medium-sized businesses and large family companies."
Among the speakers at the summit are Martina Hund-Mejean (CFO, MasterCard), Tina Müller (CMO, Adam Opel AG), Dr. Antonia Rados (journalist and Middle East expert), Steinunn Sigurðardóttir (author), Xiaoquin Clever (President of SAP Labs China, SAP AG), Jeanette Buerling (Founder, Magnet Media Group) and Prof. Claudia Kemfert (Department Head of Energy, Transport and the Environment at the German Institute for Economic Research). The Global Female Leaders Summit will be opened by Wei Christiansen (Co-CEO Asia Pacific, Morgan Stanley), who is currently on the short list for Financial Times Magazine's ten 'women of 2013'.
The participation fee for the Global Female Leaders Summit is €2,995.00 plus VAT. The speeches will be made in English. For more information and the event programme, please go to www.globalfemaleleaders.com.
