Make a Girl a Woman Conference
ATLANTA, February 2, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The IPY Agency in partnership with Our Children’s Story is pleased to announce its inaugural Youth Empowerment Conference being held March 24, 2018, at the Windy Hill Community Center in Smyrna, Georgia. Timed during National Women’s History Month, this conference will offer participants seminars and panels on Financial Literacy, an interactive presentation by employees of Grady's Rape Crisis Center, Conflict Resolution/Conflict Management Skills, Proper Etiquette, Self-Esteem/Confidence-Building and Interview Prep.
All conference events – breakout sessions, panel discussions, vision board prep and etiquette training will be in line with the theme “Embracing Your Gift of Influence,” providing time for instruction, expression, introspection, artistic exploration and fellowship. Key speakers include Marissa Mitchell *INVITED* (FOX5 Atlanta), Monica McCoy (Monica Motivates), Dr. Patrice Basanta-Henry (Medical Director at Atlanta Maternal Fetal Medicine), Carla DuPont (Write with Carla), Wanda Shelley (Vice-President/Co-Owner of Simmons-Shelley Entertainment), Nicole Long (Group Director of Finance, Coca-Cola Company), Tania K.
