Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., Sworn in as President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, Trigg, O’Cathain & O’Cathain LLC, is proud to announce that co-founding partner and Chair of the firm’s Family Law Department, Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., was sworn in as President of the national organization, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), during its annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois, this past Friday, November 10, 2017.

Previously Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., served as President-Elect of the AAML, an organization of 1,650 preeminent family law attorneys practicing throughout the United States. The AAML’s stated mission is, ‘… to promote professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.’ She is a former President of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML, a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, and in 2016 received the NJ Chapter’s highest honor, Fellow of the Year.  In 2015 Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq. received the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section’s Saul R. Tischler Award, for her lifetime contribution to family law.

Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq. was sworn in by her co-founding law partner and husband, Walter A. Lesnevich, Esq., during a dinner dance entitled ‘An Evening in Paris’ at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, with members of the AAML and her family in attendance.

Throughout her term as President, Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., will travel to numerous Chapter meetings, as well as head the AAML Mid-Year meeting in March 2018 at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii.
