MADE Magazine to Present 'Shades of Latina' Brunch

MADE Magazine and Yo So Ella are joining forces to present the first “Shades of Latina” brunch on February 21 at 1:00pm. The event will take place at the headquarters of FAME Enterprises,  2233 S. Throop, Suite 212, Chicago, Illinois, 60608.

MADE Magazine is a bi-monthly e-zine that seeks to shift perspectives and shape mindsets of the millennial generation. Yo Soy Ella is an organization that provides workshops to spiritually mentor and empower Latina women.

The brunch will center on dialogue about race, identity, ethnicity, nationality, and community as it relates to Afro-Latinas.

The brunch will center on dialogue about race, identity, ethnicity, nationality, and community as it relates to Afro-Latinas. Two well-known blogs, #IAmEnough and Boriqua Chicks, have also come on board as hosts for the groundbreaking brunch.

Created by Jenay Wright, #IAmEnough is devoted to giving readers a gateway to self-assurance, pride and confidence in who they are. Co-creators of Boriqua Chicks, Rebecca Dailey-Wooley and Raquel Dailey-Parham, utilize their platform to give readers a fresh, urban, afro-latina perspective on popular celebrity news stories and real life topics.
