Lux Associates Celebrates and Encourages Culture of Teamwork

Phoenix, AZ, December 25, 2015 (Newswire.com) - ​Goals provide the direction and focus for any successful organization, and Natalie is justifiably proud of the goals that she and the Lux Associates team have achieved. “We’ve been in competition with our larger sister offices in San Francisco and Dallas all year, and I’m proud to say that on several occasions we were considered the top advertising office! Also, we’ve established working relationships with the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury, which has been on our radar for 10 years now.”

Natalie credits the unity of the Lux Associates team for the success the company enjoys, pointing out the variety of activities the associates do together. “Most of us are athletes or former athletes, so we enjoy fitness and competition. We play sand volleyball every Thursday, and go bowling and hiking together as well.” Other events include comedy clubs and karaoke nights, and of course the occasional basketball game.

The director had some special plans for strengthening the team culture during the holiday season. She and the other office managers planned a Secret Santa gift exchange, and Natalie hosted a holiday party for Lux Associates’ top producers. Also, the entire team traveled to Southern California, where they toured the newly built headquarters for their region and met with industry leaders.

“These events are meant to be a lot of fun, but they serve a purpose as well,” Natalie explained. “Getting to know colleagues on a personal level helps everyone understand each other better. A unique bond forms between peers when they spend time together outside the office, allowing them to utilize each other’s strengths and continue to grow. It also allows me as a manager to be a better coach.” 

Lux Associates’ Director Recognizes High Achievers

She immediately mentioned Ariel A. and her recent promotion to director of human resources/office manager. “She is the heartbeat of the business, the face of the company, and the one who will keep us all in line.”

Natalie also mentioned a few other Lux Associates team members. First, her right hand man John, who is a true business partner. Then, David, hailing from Sydney, Australia, pulls from his pro-tennis background to bring a high level of energy to his efforts every day. Demi, though by far the nicest person Natalie has ever met, is also the office powerhouse and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Ramiro has owned several businesses of his own before joining Lux Associates, and brings experience and a superior work ethic to the firm. Whenever Natalie needs someone to be an example of the right thing to do, she knows she can point at Rebecca. Also, Tony has assumed the role of motivator for the firm, willingly spreading his confidence and enthusiasm to everyone. To finish up our team, Trent, Chris, and Derrick have all recently come into their own, showing that 2016 will be their year. “I’m blessed to have such a great team to work with, and I know we’ll continue to excel in the coming year!” she concluded.
