Lung Cancer Foundation of America Partners to Fill in Funding Gap for Critical Research
$400,000 in private grants aim to support progress in developing new treatments for the deadliest form of cancer— lung cancer.
Los Angeles, CA, March 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Lung Cancer Foundation of America (LCFA) and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) have joined forces to fund $400,000 in lung cancer research grants to support two young investigators.
A request for applications is available on LCFA’s website (http://www.lcfamerica.org) now through June 30. Researchers can submit their applications for review and two will be chosen to receive the LCFA/IASLC Lori Monroe Scholarship in Translational Lung Cancer Research to be paid over two years.
