HERNDON, Va., October 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Lumious, LLC's parent company, Tech 2000, Inc. announced today that Beau Oliver has been named as Tech 2000's new Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors, both effective Nov. 1, 2017. Mr. Oliver brings a wealth of experience to Tech 2000, having held executive positions with top consulting, software, and services companies. Most recently, Mr. Oliver served as Chief Operating Officer for Cipher Systems.

During his time at Cipher Systems, Mr. Oliver led all market-facing operations for the technology and consulting practices. He worked with Fortune 500 executive leaders to utilize technology to better understand their competitive environment, manage and analyze company knowledge, and accelerate growth in dynamic markets. Mr. Oliver spearheaded the expansion of Cipher’s global professional services practice, reinvigorating consulting offerings around strategic planning, change management, technology/applications, systems integration, innovation, and competitive analysis.

Prior to joining Cipher Systems in 2014, Mr. Oliver held leadership roles at Toffler Associates and Deloitte Consulting, and served as a pilot and mission commander in the United States Navy. Mr. Oliver earned his MBA in International Strategy from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy.
