SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 16, 2018 (Newswire.com) - LumaSense Technologies Inc. will debut the Luxtron m920 series Utility Module at the IEEE PES T & D Conference & Exposition (Booth #2274) in Denver, Colorado, from April 17-19, as well as TechCon Australia (Booth #10) in Sydney April 16-18. This new module is the latest addition to LumaSense’s trusted Luxtron fiber optic portfolio.
The m920 Series Utility system uses LumaSense’s trusted Luxtron Fluoroptic® technology and is a cost-effective choice for accurate, real-time transformer winding hot spot monitoring. This module is specifically designed for transformer monitoring system providers or transformer manufacturers desiring to add fiber optic temperature measurement capability to their equipment.
In addition, LumaSense will exhibit a suite of solutions designed for continuous monitoring using various technologies such as fiber optics, gas detection and thermal imaging. For online, remote monitoring of fault gases found in transformer insulating oil, LumaSense offers the cost-effective SmartDGA system.
