Louisiana's Albany Dental Care Gives Back to Local Families

ALBANY, La., December 31, 2018 (Newswire.com) - In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Albany Dental Care in decided to give back to their local community by purchasing a Nintendo Switch and a $100 Winn Dixie gift card. They hosted Facebook contests for each prize, encouraging followers to tag friends and families who may be in need of some extra help this holiday season. The community quickly began engaging, generating a combined total of 541 comments and over 100 shares.

“Participants didn’t have to be patients,” says Albany Dental Team Member, Beth Buckner. “We wanted all persons to be able to enter for a chance to win, letting people know about our dental services while serving the community. Our staff enjoys helping others. Everyone had a great time with it, and reading the comments allowed us all to share in the holiday spirit.”

While many businesses may host giveaways at Christmas time, Albany Dental Care works hard to maintain their community involvement year-round. The office celebrated back to school through backpack giveaways and national Play-Doh Day by giving Play-Doh to encourage creativity among children all week long. Additionally, Dr. Randy Mayer recognizes and celebrates milestones such as losing first teeth, birthdays and acknowledging doctor-patient anniversaries.
