“Looking Good and Creating the Right Image on Camera”
IRVINE, Calif. (July 14, 2014) – As part of the Irvine Builds Businesses series, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce is offering a free webinar, “Looking Good and Creating the Right Image on Camera,” on Thursday, July 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Due to the widespread availability of smartphones and inexpensive video cameras, virtually any small business can create and distribute effective video presentations. This skill is becoming increasingly necessary in the business world. Improperly positioning products or people in a video may result in the antithesis of a company’s original intent.
Expert videographer and educator Dia North will teach participants how to utilize video production skills to a business’s advantage. North is the founder of Dia North Productions and has produced more than 1000 online videos for Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, start-up businesses, entrepreneurs, and various associations. In this webinar, participants will learn how to use lighting to drastically alter the mood and appearance of a video, position subjects in a flattering manner, compensate for non-optimum shooting conditions, and create a professional image using inexpensive equipment.
