Logo Brands to Become Major Player in Ball Industry Through GameMaster Acquisition

Bundle buying options will soon be available

Logo Brands, a premier manufacturer of outdoor lifestyle products, announced today its acquisition of GameMaster, a privately held inflatable ball company based in West Chester, Ohio. This acquisition will give Logo Brands the rights to manufacture and distribute balls and sporting goods with officially licensed collegiate team logos and marks.

“GameMaster has been in the industry for decades. We think it’s going to be a great addition to our product line. We’re excited about bringing these new items to our customers in a way they’ve never been brought to market before. We see it as a great synergy for the items and collections we already make,” says Matt McCauley, President of Logo Brands. “Along with new designs, we will bring a new level of quality to this industry.”

GameMaster currently distributes licensed footballs and basketballs in a variety of materials and sizes, as well as other sporting goods and games. Remaining GameMaster inventory is already in route to Franklin for Logo Brands to be able to distribute immediately. This will allow retailers to remain stocked while Logo Brands finalizes new branding and designs based on customer feedback.

Investments in equipment for the newly assimilated inventory will expand capabilities for existing Logo Brands product lines as well. Logo Brands will soon have the ability to finalize products on site, including balls, chairs, coolers, bags and more. Logo Brands is committed to stocking ball inventory for quick replenishment for retail partners and blank balls for custom programs. They currently have existing relationships with most of GameMaster’s wholesale accounts.

“Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible for the retail partners we share,” states Kris Talley, VP of Sales at Logo Brands.  “We think our combined portfolios of products will open up a lot of doors. We’re already the leader for the collegiate hard goods category. We want to be the leader and the choice for balls and sporting goods, too.”
