Local Studio Brings Glamour to Somerville for Past 3 Years
Somerville, MA, August 13, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Local small business Patton Photography is celebrating its third year of bringing boudoir photography to the Boston area. Located on the top floor of Somerville’s Brickbottom Artists’ Studio building on Fitchburg Street, Patton Photography has styled and photographed over one hundred women, many of whom dared to to show a little more skin - “boudoir-style”.
Tasteful and elegant as opposed to trashy, boudoir photography is a great way for women to feel beautiful and confident in their bodies. Boudoir photos serve as a unique gift for a significant other, or can simply be saved as a personal keepsake.
"When clients come to see their pictures, we get a real range of reactions: everything from sort of stunned silence, to pointing and shouting, to laughing, all different kinds of things."
Erik Patton, Owner/Photographer
Patton Photography caters their business to focus on the boudoir experience. Designed as a way for women to feel luxuriously pampered, every boudoir photo shoot at Patton Photography is a fun, confidence-boosting event, and women are invited to bring a friend or loved one along to enjoy the activity.
Hair and makeup styling is provided, and the Patton Photography team coaches the client to hit the best poses. Photo editing and retouching are used to enhance the photos, but certainly light enough to maintain each woman’s natural beauty.
Owner and photographer Erik Patton finds boudoir photography especially rewarding when he sees clients’ responses to the finished prints. “When clients come to see their pictures, we get a real range of reactions: everything from sort of stunned silence, to pointing and shouting, to laughing, all different kinds of things,” Patton says.
“But the bottom line is that they really love the photographs, and it means a lot to them, and I find that really fulfilling as a photographer.”
