Local Oncologist Releases New Research at National Oncology Meeting

Highlands Oncology Group Physician Has Released New Abstracts at American Society of Clinical Oncology Meeting

Dr. J. Thaddeus Beck, M.D., F.A.C.P. of Highlands Oncology Group (HOG), recently attended the 50th annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting, held in Chicago, where he released new abstracts on cancer research and treatment. 

An annual ASCO meeting is held where oncologists from around the country meet to discuss breakthroughs or changes in medical oncology treatment and awareness, to present lectures and presentations and to provide educational experiences on focused topics in clinical oncology. 

Dr. Beck presented findings on different treatment trials ranging from kidney cancer treatment to pancreatic cancer treatment. 

The ASCO Annual Meeting brings together more than 25,000 oncology professionals from a broad range of specialties, according to the ASCO website

The annual ASCO meeting was held from May 30 to June 3.
