NEW YORK, February 22, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Bergen Linen, a commercial linen provider for the food and beverage industry, continues to create a new level of linen service.
After successfully running Hallak Cleaners for decades, the Hallak family decided to branch out to the linen service industry. Aware of the saturated market, they knew Bergen Linen had to be different.
With this in mind, Joe and John-Claude Hallak created this new family-owned and operated company that provided an elevated level of fabric care. Similar to their couture dry cleaning company, it was important that the food and beverage industry had a company they could rely on. Bergen Linen targeted restaurants, caterers, country clubs and event planners in the New York and New Jersey area.
The majority of the rentals were restaurant table linens, napkins, bar mops, towels, and chef wear. Then, party linen rentals such as overlays, runners, specialty color table linens, chair covers, sashes and table skirts were added to the inventory.
Additionally, Bergen Linen welcomed spas and other institutions that required hospitality linens. For example, large regional universities requested hospitality packages that included items such as bed linens, blankets, bath towels, and robes.
The right inventory wasn't enough to stand apart from the crowd. Bergen Linen designed a mission based on keeping clients by keeping them happy. They created agreements rather than contracts. Unlike many other linen providers, clients are not locked in - and provided practically no wiggle room to leave if they are not satisfied.

Although the last few years have proved challenging, Bergen Linen continued to provide tablecloths and other linens throughout the pandemic.
