Life Remodeled Experiencing More Transformation Than They Originally Anticipated

WHAT:
Prior to starting the project, Life Remodeled's volunteer leadership invested months of preparation to accomplish the following "lofty" goals: Build a brand new house for a deserving family, renovate 24 neighbors' homes, board up 250 dangerous vacant houses, and beautify 48 city blocks...all in just six days!
Within the first three days, they have already boarded up 170 vacant houses, beautified 22 blocks, and they're ahead of schedule on the new home. "More volunteers are coming than we expected, and not only are many of the neighbors appreciative...they're fully-engaged! We're locking arms and accomplishing a whole lot more than surpassing our original numerical goals. All of our lives are being remodeled as we unite together for a cause beyond ourselves," said Life Remodeled founder Chris Lambert.
WHO:
Thousands have already experienced the adventure, and thousands more are expected to participate before this project comes to an end on Aug 3. Quicken Loans alone plans to mobilize roughly 1,200 volunteers tomorrow and Saturday (Aug 2, 3). This is Quicken Loans' largest volunteer effort to date, and their team members will help board up vacant houses, remove blight, paint and create beauty.
Individuals and groups can still get involved in the action! (Details: LifeRemodeled.com)
