Life Enhancement Program Launches for Seniors

Online, March 29, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Louisville, KY-Senior Care, Inc. announces the launch of their exclusive Life Enhancement Program for residents at all 44 Elmcroft communities.

Elmcroft's Vitality Club is a life enhancement program that helps residents to achieve balance by meeting the basic needs of each person in six areas: physical, social, cognitive/intellectual, emotional, spiritual and leisure.

To determine each resident's unique lifestyle needs, the local Healthy Lifestyles Director creates a Wellness Profile to obtain information about each resident's past and current leisure lifestyle, gaining a better understanding of our resident's life story and preferences. After reviewing the Wellness Profiles the Healthy Lifestyles Director will create a program of daily activities that best meets the needs of the residents.

Each day provides a unique opportunity to develop the six basic areas. Such activities may be Tai Chi, Dancing, Horseshoes, Arts & Crafts, & Brain Teasers to name just a few.
