LG Optimus Chic and LG Optimus One: UK Phone Details Unveiled
Online, October 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - One of the world's leading smartphone manufacturers, LG, has released to the public the details about the two newest members of the LG Optimus family - the Optimus One and the Optimus Chic. Both mobile phones will come in packing Google Android 2.2.

Both the LG Optimus One and the LG Optimus Chic are among the first handsets to have Android 2.2, Froyo on board - the latest incarnation of Google's mobile platform that allows two to three times faster and smoother Internet browsing, web-page loading, application pop-ups and multi-tasking.
As the newest additions to the LG Optimus lineup, Optimus One and Optimus Chic will be optimised with all the latest editions of Google's Mobile Services including Google Voice Search, Google Voice Actions, Google Goggles, Google Shopper and Google Maps with navigation. Both smartphones will also offer access to the constantly increasing catalogue of more than 80,000 Android applications.
The LG Optimus One blends stylish design and ease of use, making it the ideal entry-level smartphone for those not prepared to forfeit style over functionality. Alongside its user-friendly interface, the Optimus One also includes the exclusive LG App Advisor, which recommends 10 top-rated applications every two weeks.
Offering a minimalist look for the style-conscious amongst us, the LG Optimus Chic looks sleek and stylish. It comes with a unique on-screen phone feature allowing users to control the device from their PCs, whilst LG Air Sync will wirelessly sync contacts, photos and other important information with a computer and cloud database.
LG launched Optimus Smartphone family with the Optimus GT540, and will extend to include an Android powered tablet as well as several new smartphones in the future.
While LG has no current plans to bring the Optimus Chic to the UK, the LG Optimus One is slated for release in October 2010.
