Level 10 Construction Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

Accomplishing many milestones along the way

Level 10 Construction

"When we embarked on creating this company in 2011, our goal was to build at the highest level and provide our clients with excellent service. Our achievements have been a real testament to the strength of our employees' problem-solving and relationship-building abilities. We have our clients and subcontractors to thank," states Dennis Giles, President. "This is what propels us forward and guides our principles."

Level 10 Construction was founded by a seasoned team of executives who'd previously worked together as colleagues and had a collective vision of building a firm that would be an exceptional general contractor in California.

Since 2011, the company has grown from five employees to nearly 500 and has offices in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, San Diego, and most recently Austin, Texas, where they're constructing an innovative office campus featuring two six-story office buildings, including extensive outdoor amenities and state-of-the-art infrastructure with a focus on promoting sustainability and wellness.

"During our 10 years in business, Level 10 has constructed over 30 million square feet of buildings and parking structures and an additional 10 million square feet of tenant improvement space. Our revenue in the first 10 years of business has surpassed $9 billion. This was achieved by the skillful management of our people both in preconstruction and construction. We're proud of achieving over 95% repeat client business with our client base of sophisticated companies, totaling over 80 in number, spread throughout the State of California," states Dennis Giles.

Level 10's high-profile projects include 181 Fremont, Facebook's Frank Gehry-designed MPK 20 and 21 campuses in Menlo Park, Central + Wolfe in Sunnyvale, and 200 Park in San Jose, a 19-story tower with an iconic design that will act as a gateway to downtown San Jose and which was awarded the Silicon Valley Business Journal's 2021 Structures Award for Innovative Technology.

Other notable projects include the Palomar Community College Maintenance and Operations Complex, the first-ever Living Building Challenge Petal Certification project in the world for Community Colleges, in addition to San Diego's Museum of Contemporary Art Expansion in La Jolla, California. Growing market sectors comprise Life Sciences, Education, and Healthcare, including Silicon Valley Business Journal's 2021 Health Care Project winner—the Stanford Center for Academic Medicine, a 185,000-square-foot building built atop a parking structure that houses 450 physicians and 500 researchers.

"Being clear on who we are as a company and staying focused on servicing our clients has been a big driver in our success," continues Giles. "Our mission has always been about exceeding our client's expectations. We look forward to continually performing at the highest-level while providing excellent service to our clients. Our future plans include the same goals that have guided us through the first 10 years with a continued and controlled growth providing excellent opportunities for our talented work force."
