Leslie Rompa's New Book "Shadows of You and Me" is a Beautiful and Heartening Poetic Reflection of the Traumas and Trials Leslie Survived During Her Adolescence

Leslie Rompa, a nature enthusiast, mother, wife, and survivor, has completed her most recent book “Shadows of You and Me”: a gripping and transcendent work of poetry that explores the innermost feelings of the author as she reflects on her traumatic childhood.

Having experienced multiple traumas since the age of 7 and being a survivor of PTSD, Leslie decided when she was 17 years old to write about her thoughts and feelings in the form of poetry.  She shares, “My hope is that my poems show people, especially youth and young adults, that they are not alone during times of turmoil. Reading these poems can offer one resiliency, hope, understanding, and the art of forgiveness of others and oneself to find peace and happiness in a, sometimes, messy life.”

Published by Fulton Books, Leslie Rompa’s book is an intensely emotional collection of poetry that reflects Leslie’s many trials during her adolescence and young adulthood. She feels that people of all ages will identify with her experiences and feelings and believes her poetry can offer hope and resiliency during a person’s difficult times.

Readers who wish to experience this encouraging work can purchase “Shadows of You and Me” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
