Lenbrook Introduces DALI's Versatile OBERON Series to U.S. Market

SAN DIEGO, September 5, 2018 (Newswire.com) - SAN DIEGO, September 5, 2018 (Newswire) - Lenbrook Americas today introduced the all-new DALI OBERON Series, six affordable speaker models that cover a wide range of room sizes and applications for both music and home theater. Created to make genuine audio reproduction more affordable, OBERON series was conceived to deliver superior stereo and surround experiences by incorporating key elements from DALI’s critically-acclaimed EPICON. Encompassing two floor-standing and two bookshelf models, the series also includes a single on-wall and a center channel speaker. OBERON models start at $499 and top out at $1399 per pair and will commence delivery in mid-November. 

Capable of dramatically reducing the distortion caused by conventional drivers, OBERON is the first entry-level loudspeaker to incorporate DALI’s unique SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) technology. This combined with DALI’s brand-new 29mm soft dome tweeter, large DALI signature wood-fiber cones and rigid-build MDF cabinets, makes for a series of speakers that deliver sound, from any source, exactly as it was intended to be heard.

The two floor-standing models, OBERON 7 ($1399 pr) and OBERON 5 ($1099 pr) represent the top of the series while OBERON 3 (799 pr) and OBERON 1 ($549 pr) are bookshelf models equally suited for use on a shelf or stand. 

OBERON On-Wall ($699 pr) features the same quality drive units but also utilizes DALI’s down-firing bass port system to deliver low-end power without relying on bulky cabinet depth. The unique combination of DALI’s technologies creates a speaker that, despite its slim profile, will deliver the precise, engaging audio of a much larger model, making it the ideal choice for a wall-mounted speaker. 

OBERON VOKAL ($499 ea) fills the critical center or dialog speaker in a surround sound system. It has been expertly designed to integrate seamlessly with every other speaker in the OBERON range. With its 29mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter and two 5.-inch wood fiber SMC-based woofers, the OBERON VOKAL can sit either directly above or below the TV screen and upgrade any music or movie audio experience with its stunningly precise, clear and detailed reproduction.

DALI believes speakers should look every bit as good as they sound so they offer OBERON models in four premium finishes: Black, Dark Walnut, Light Oak and White. To add further variety, black textured grilles are included with Dark Walnut and Black finishes while gray grilles are mated to White and Light Oak finishes.
