Legion Celebrated Team Members With Las Vegas Award Ceremony
The Legion management team recently celebrated their associates' accomplishments with an award ceremony in Las Vegas. Alon B., the company's Director of Operations, stated that it was a great team-building experience.
Pleasanton, CA, February 26, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Legion has seen a lot of successes recently, including new campaigns, a growing team, and several advancing associates. Alon credited these successes to the talent and drive of his people. As a way of formally acknowledging this, Alon and the rest of the company’s management took the team to the Peppermill in Las Vegas and gave awards to associates who went above and beyond expectations.
“This was a wonderful opportunity for us to show our appreciation,” he said. “Compared to all the hard work these individuals have put into the company, this award ceremony was the least we could do.”
Needa O. received an award for being the team’s most valuable player. Curtis H. received the firm’s consistency award. The contribution award went to Norma M. Additionally, Lindsey L., Deven W., Jeremy M., Sam G., and Frank G. all received achievement awards.
A special award for being an excellent team player was given to Leah Y. This award, the Josh Chipponeri Team Player Award, was named for a member of the Legion team who tragically passed away suddenly in a car accident last year. Alon indicated that this award was particularly meaningful because it gave them a chance to honor both Leah and Josh.
“Everyone who received an award this year truly deserved the recognition,” he stated. “Our whole team is so great; it was quite challenging to decide who to honor. However, these select few went that extra distance and managed to distinguish themselves. I couldn’t be prouder of them and the rest of the Legion team!”
Legion’s Director of Operations Discusses the Team-Building Effect of the Firm’s Awards
Alon indicated that the recent awards ceremony served as a great team-building experience for the Legion associates. He stated that all of the team members were happy to support their colleagues.
“Although only some of our associates received awards, there was very little sense of rivalry,” he elaborated. “I think that our culture of teamwork combined with the plentiful opportunities for advancement have created an atmosphere of friendly competition. Everyone tries to be the best but it is all in good fun.”
He also asserted that the fun night out for the team was a great chance to simply enjoy being around each other. “I think it is important for a company team to have a night out together on a regular basis. This award ceremony was a nice treat and a great experience we all shared.”
