Attributes Success to Recent Release of LEADTOOLS Version 19 and OCR Optimization

Earlier this year, LEADTOOLS Version 19 was released with major optimizations to its OCR and MICR engines. Each of these technologies extracts text information from images or documents including TIFF, JPEG, PNG and PDF. Additionally, a new Check Processing algorithm was developed to combine both of these engines into a programmer-friendly interface for finding the important check fields such as the date, name, amount, signature, bank account and routing number.

A new image pre-processing function, Perspective Deskew, was introduced in Version 19 to automatically correct three-dimensional skewing common on images captured from mobile devices. This advanced algorithm sealed the deal for several companies and is continuing to be a strong selling point for the LEADTOOLS Document Imaging family of products.
