Larson Electronics Releases Waterproof Solar Powered Underwater LED Light, 12 Watts, 800 Lumens
KEMP, Texas, March 18, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 12-watt solar powered underwater LED light that produces 800 lumens of light output for use in remote, marine areas. This light features three 8aH sealed lead acid batteries charged by a solar panel to provide reliable power to the LED. The 30-watt solar panel measures 28” wide by 24.732” deep by 28.459 high.
The SPLED-LEDEUL4 waterproof solar powered underwater LED light operates on 12V DC and provides 800 lumens of light output. This durable underwater light offers optional light colors, including red, white, green, amber, blue, and infrared. This unit offers operators the ability to combine two different colors in one light and is available in 10 degree spot or 60 degree flood beam configurations. This unit is made of aluminum with stainless-steel hardware and is fully sealed and weatherproof to resist corrosion.
Larson Electronics’ waterproof LED light runs for 15 hours with fully charged batteries offering a five-hour charging time for the battery bank when exposed to direct sunlight. The solar panel is made to operate nonstop 24/7 day or night with photocell and has a motion sensor for security. The light features an on/off switch for manual operation or flying leads for connecting to external switches.
The underwater solar powered LED light comes equipped with six feet of SOOW cord and a Deutsch 2-pin disconnect running between the solar panel and LED light. The solar panel can be attached to above-water flat surfaces as well as round or square pole mounting such as flagpoles or structure supports. Suitable applications include use in both underwater and above-water environments.
