Larson Electronics Releases Temporary Power Distribution System, 480V AC, 3PH, 800A MCB
KEMP, Texas, June 26, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a temporary power distribution system that provides operators with a primary and secondary three-phase voltage of 480V AC. This unit allows operators to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from generators and direct grid power.
The MGP-480V.3P-800A-2x400A.CL-2X60A.CL-1X200A.CL-N3R temporary power distribution system allows operators to power 480V equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators can connect 480V AC using two sets of male cam-locks (brown, yellow, green and orange). On the secondary side, operators can access two sets of 150-amp and one set of 400-amp female cam-locks for line-out devices. All cam-locks are equipped with NEMA 3R protective flip covers.
Larson Electronics’ temporary power distribution system features a portable panel and load center/distribution assembly that is mounted to a powder coated steel dolly cart style frame. The mounting platform features four casters and a center point lift point that allows for easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This transformer is grounded to the frame via a grounding lug that is provided. Suitable applications include indoor and outdoor use, construction sites, plant maintenance and turnarounds, and more.
