Larson Electronics Releases Rechargeable, Explosion-Proof, LED, Mini Brick Light, 50W, 50-Foot SOOW Cord
KEMP, Texas, October 2, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a rechargeable, explosion-proof, mini LED brick light for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This mini LED light features a 7-inch LED light head that produces 6,250 lumens of light while drawing only 50 watts. This light comes equipped with a lithium-ion battery that provides up to five hours of operation on a full charge.
The EPL-PM.M-50LED-RPS-50C-EPP rechargeable, explosion-proof, mini LED brick light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations. This LED light provides 4,000 square feet of work area coverage and produces 6,250 lumens of light output. This unit features a color temperature of 5600K with 3000K and 4500K options available. This portable light is mounted to an A-frame-style, copper-free, non-sparking aluminum base with four magnetic feet.
Larson Electronics’ portable, mini, explosion-proof, LED brick light features a light head that creates a flood pattern and features a carrying handle on the top of the stand. The light can be adjusted up or down 90˚and locked into place. The LEDs offer 50,000 hours of lamp life with 80% lumen retention. Several beam angles can be achieved with this unit, including a 60˚ beam for intense light, a 125˚ beam for more diffused light, and a 140˚ beam for a wide lighting pattern.
This portable LED light is universal voltage capable and can be recharged from 100-277V AC 50/60Hz outlets. A non-rechargeable low voltage option is also available that operates on AC/DC voltages from 11-25 volts. This IP67-rated light comes with 50 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion-proof cord cap. Suitable applications include: hazardous locations, industrial and commercial settings.
