Larson Electronics Releases LED Drop/Task Light, 28W, 25' SOOW Cord, Daisy Chain Connections

KEMP, Texas, October 31, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 28-watt LED drop/task light with end-to-end connectors. This drop light features 25 feet of SOOW cord with an in-line on/off switch and is shock resistant. This unit offers 50,000 hours of lamp life and is designed to operate in cooler temperatures.

The FTL-5-LED-ILC-SW-25 28-watt LED drop/task light is designed to be weather and impact resistant and is durable enough to withstand drops, falls and rough handling. This T8-rated LED drop light features a built-in reflector to provide a wide, glare-free and shadow-less light field. This unit produces 3,500 lumens of light output and does not require a ballast for operation. This unit is universal voltage capable and can operate on voltages ranging from 120V to 277V AC and 11V to 25V AC/DC.

Larson Electronics’ LED drop light comes with a set of drop light hooks for overhead hanging and is equipped with 25 feet of 16/2 SOOW cable with an in-line on/off toggle switch. The switch allows operators to turn the LED fixture on and off without having to unplug the light. The SOOW cord is terminated in an industrial grade cord cap and each light comes with a 5-foot whip terminated in a female connector for end-to-end connections.

This LED drop light features a lightly frosted lens and nylon housing for added durability. Suitable applications include general maintenance, construction sites, emergency shelter, aircraft interior, ship yards, long and narrow pathways, and more.
