Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Two Color LED Warning Light, ATEX/IECEx
KEMP, Texas, June 18, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof LED warning light rated for use in Class I, Division 1 and ATEX/IECEx hazardous locations. This unit’s housings are made with a polyester powder coated copper-free aluminum casting that can withstand 1,490 lbs PSI hydrostatic pressure. This unit features a mounting plate made of non-sparking aluminum.
The ATEX-EPL-TL-2X10W-C-GA.RX explosion proof LED warning light has a green and red indicator light offering a 50,000 hour operating life. This unit is available in 120-277V AC and 11 or 24V DC or VAC configurations for standard or low voltage operation. This warning light is rated for use in ATEX/IEC Ex locations and can be used in conjunction with weight switches, momentary push-buttons, or other equipment.
Larson Electronics’ LED warning light features a green LED lamp on the left side that lights up an arrow signaling to move forward and a red LED lamp on the right side lighting up an ‘X’ signaling to stop. The green LED is connected to a normally closed circuit and the red is connected to a normally open circuit. This LED fixture has a T3C temperature rating and has a -40˚C to 85˚C ambient operating temperature range.
Line-in supply power is provided via 10 feet of 16 AWG SOOW cable with flying leads. Each LED lamp is 10 watts and designed for heavy use. This unit is mounted via a heavy gauge aluminum base with four predrilled holes to allow bolting to walls and flat surfaces. This unit is suitable for use in industrial and commercial settings.
