Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Timer, CID1, ATEX/IECEx, NEMA Enclosure, Aluminum
KEMP, Texas, October 26, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof timer for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This timer allows users to apply timed settings for the EXP-MS-30W-N4X explosion proof motion sensor made by Larson Electronics. This timer is made of copper-free aluminum and sits inside a NEMA-rated enclosure.
The EXP-MS-30W-N4X-SP2001 explosion proof timer is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This timer provides a range of 9 seconds to 120 minutes and during use, a relay holds the circuit open for 60-120 minutes. The J13816 provides timed settings for the EXP-MS-30W-N4X explosion proof motion sensor by Larson Electronics and other equipment.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof timer is made of copper-free aluminum and is protected by a tempered soda lime glass lens. This ATEX/IECEx-rated timer is designed to withstand demanding environments and is compatible with conduit sizes up to 2”. This timer is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7(B, C, D) and 9(E, F, G) and features casting lugs for mounting. Suitable applications include use as the accessory timer for Larson Electronics’ EXP-MS-30W-N4X.
