Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Outlet, (2) 1" NPT Hubs, 20-Amp Rated

This outlet is 20-amp rated and is ideal for use in corrosive environments or where equipment may get wet.
The EPO-20A-V2-2X1S explosion proof power outlet is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This 20-amp rated power outlet is made of copper-free, non-sparking aluminum and the housing is made of malleable iron. This device is factory sealed with any arcing safely contained within the interior of the outlet. This outlet features contacts that are deeply recessed to avoid accidental contact and will not be energized by non-explosion proof plugs.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof power outlet has a neoprene seal fitted inside to seal against the plug when inserted to provide protection against intrusion of water. This unit features a spring-loaded door to provide an automatic weather-tight seal when the plug is removed. This device is designed to safely contain arcs between the internal contacts that may be created within the receptacle housing and is suitable for use in areas where flammable gases or vapors may be present, manufacturing, industrial settings and more.
