Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof Motor Starter, 3-Pole, 3PH, 1.5 HP Polyphase

This unit provides operators with general motor control protection and can be used indoors and outdoors where dirt and moisture may be present. This unit is equipped with two 5-amp, 1.5 HP starters, two reset overloads, two start buttons and two illuminated stop buttons.
The EPCS-MTS-3P-2X-1.5HP-208V explosion-proof motor starter is made of corrosion-resistant cast copper-free aluminum and features a semi-clamshell design with an external flanged ground joint between the body and the cover. A motor starting handle can be found on the right side wall and provides operators visual confirmation that all assembly is correct. This unit features a neoprene cover gasket that is permanently attached to the cover and seals out moisture.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof motor starter can be installed with a pre-drilled mounting plate (comes with the unit) inside the enclosure. A steel bracket for lifting larger enclosures is also included. This unit is suitable for use indoors and outdoors in hazardous locations where frequent washdowns occur or where heavy rain or water spray may occur.
