Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof Motor, 1.5 HP, 230V 1PH 60Hz, 1,725 RPM, CI/II
KEMP, Texas, July 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof motor for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This 1.5 horsepower is compatible with 230V AC single-phase 60Hz and offers 7.8 FLA. This unit is Class F insulation rated and features a NEMA 56H motor frame that can be installed with industrial systems through an integrated mounting foot.
The EXP-MTR-1P-230-1.5HP-1.8K-56H explosion-proof 1.5 HP motor is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations. This thermally protected unit operates with 230V AC single-phase 60Hz and offers 7.8 full-load amps and 4.8 amps of no-load current. This motor provides 4.51 lb ft. of torque with 200% locked rotor torque and 260% break down torque.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof motor generates 1,725 RPM and is fully enclosed and fan cooled. This IP55-rated motor features an ambient temperature rating of 50-degrees C and comes equipped with aluminum endshields. The motor is protected by a NEMA 56H motor frame and comes with 24-inches of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and an aluminum conduit box that needs assembly. This motor is foot mounted and is suitable for use in hazardous settings, industrial facilities, manufacturing and more.
