Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Low Profile LED Light Fixture, 80W, 10,800 Lumens, CID1
KEMP, Texas, October 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof low-profile LED light fixture for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This LED light fixture is mounted on an aluminum pole and features a T5 temperature rating. This 80-watt LED unit comes equipped with terminal strips for wiring.
The EPL-LP-48-LED-APM explosion proof low-profile LED light fixture is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This low-profile fixture provides 10,800 lumens of high-quality light while drawing only 80 watts and has a color temperature of 5000K with 3000K and 4500K options available. This unit features a copper-free aluminum alloy body that is powder coated for added durability and offers 60,000 hours of lamp life.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof low-profile LED fixture features two offset LED assemblies that allow the light to produce a 100-degree horizontal beam spread and a 140-degree vertical beam spread. The LED assembly is protected by a tempered borosilicate glass tube that is protected by an aluminum wire guard to prevent damage to the fixture. This unit is universal voltage capable and can be operated on 100-277V AC 50/60Hz.
This IP67-rated unit is dust proof and protected against high-pressure jets and temporary submersion. This pole mount unit comes equipped with two aluminum bar clamps allowing the light to be secured to existing poles with pole size options that include 1”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 2-1/2” and 3”. Suitable applications for this unit include paint spray booths, refineries, gas processing plants, and more.
