Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof, Low-Profile LED Fixture, 80W, 10,800 Lumens
KEMP, Texas, September 24, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof, low-profile LED fixture that features a T5 temperature rating. This unit is approved for use in paint spray booths and hazardous locations. This explosion-proof fixture provides 10,800 lumens of light while only drawing 80 watts. This fixture features a copper-free aluminum alloy body that is powder-coated for added durability.
The EPL-LP-48-LED explosion-proof, low-profile LED fixture is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This LED fixture offers 60,000 hours of lamp life with 80% lumen retention and features two offset LED assemblies that provide a 100˚ horizontal beam spread and a 140˚ vertical beam spread, while producing 10,800 lumens of light. A 3/4" NPT junction box is located on one end of the fixture and an eyelet on the other end for suspension mounting.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof LED fixture features a tempered borosilicate glass tube protecting the LED assembly that sits inside an aluminum wire guard to prevent damage to the light fixture. This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277V AC 50/60Hz and is IP67 rated. This unit features a color temperature of 5000K with a 3000K and 4500K option available. This unit comes with terminal strips and adjustable surface mount brackets. Suitable applications include paint spray booths, refineries, chemical plants and more.
