Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof LED Work Light, 100 Watts, 14,000 Lumens, CID1&2
KEMP, Texas, June 12, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a portable explosion proof LED work light with an encapsulated inline transformer rated ETL and rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This unit features a 16” Cree LED light head producing 14,000 lumens of light while drawing on only 100 watts.
The EPL-PM-100LED-220X24I-50 explosion proof LED work light provides 9,000+ square feet of work area illumination and 14,000 lumens of light output. This unit is mounted within an A-frame portable stand made of non-sparking aluminum and powder coated for added durability. Power is provided via the stepdown transformer that converts AC power voltage to 24 volts DC for the light head, which produces a flood pattern of light.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof LED work light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This unit features a 16” wide by 14” tall rectangle LED light head mounted within a pedestal base stand with a carrying handle on the top. The lamp can be adjusted to 90˚ and locked into position. The LED lights feature a color temperature of 5000K, 4000K or 3000K with a T5 temperature rating, color rendering index of 75 and a 60,000-hour operating life.
This unit is available in either a 60˚ beam angle producing a narrower beam or a 125˚ beam angle producing a more diffused beam. This system comes with 50 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord and five feet of 16/3 SOOW cord with an industrial grade cord cap for easy wall outlet connections. Suitable applications include use in industrial and commercial settings.
