Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Interlock Receptacle, 200 Amps, 600V/250V DC, CID1/2

This cord cap offers a voltage rating of 600V AC and 250V DC with a current of 200 amperes. This 3-wire, 4-pole unit is designed for use in damp, et and corrosive environments in indoor and outdoor settings.
The EPP-200A-3W4P-DW explosion proof cord cap is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This unit is made of copper-free aluminum and carries a rating of NEMA 3R, 7 (C and D), 9 (F and G) and 12. This unit contains circuit breakers that are mechanically interlocked to provide disconnect protection, protection from short circuits and thermal time delay overload.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof cord cap features a spring-loaded door on the front for added safety. This unit does not allow plug or receptacle contacts to be made or broken under load. The breaker cannot be closed unless the plug is fully inserted and the plug cannot be taken out unless the breaker is open. The operating handle is padlocked in the On or Off position. Suitable applications include commercial and industrial hazardous settings.
